Three arches
The "three arches" reflect the development process of the school, and also make Caida, which is rooted in the new campus, contain historical atmosphere. The school started from Guanghua University, and 1925 was established in Shanghai.
Every time I walk under Guanghua Gate, I seem to see the eventful years at the beginning of the 20th century, which gives me a sense of mission as a rich man in the west: assiduously seeking and helping the world.
Youth statue
The statue of youth was donated by all alumni of the former 57-level accounting department at the 35th anniversary celebration of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics 1987, and was created by Cheng.
The statue is called Youth, and the main body is a pair of young men and women with open arms, full of youthful vitality. The base of the statue is in the shape of a knife coin, which symbolizes Guanghua students' spirit of brave struggle and continuous progress in the economic field. The statue of youth was located at the main entrance (now south gate) of the school. It is the school building that everyone who enters the school can see at first sight. Over time, this statue has become one of the school's iconic statues, as a symbol of the university belief of "make great efforts, make concerted efforts, be full of vigor and strive for first-class".
