Introduction:

Henan University, referred to as "He Da" for short, is a university jointly founded by the People's Government of Henan Province, the people of China and the Ministry of Education.

19 12 years, Lin and other Henan educators founded Henan Preparatory School for Studying in Europe and America on the site of Kaifeng in Qing Dynasty. 1923, General Feng Yuxiang expanded it into Zhongzhou University. 1927 was transformed into the fifth national sun yat-sen university; 1930, ranked first in Henan University; 1942, with the support of Mr. Yu Youren and others, was changed to National Henan University.

1952 was renamed Henan Normal University, and later passed through Kaifeng Normal University and Henan Normal University. 1984, the name of Henan University was restored? . In 2022, the registered place of Henan University was changed from Kaifeng to Zhengzhou.

As of June 2022, the school has three campuses, namely, Kaifeng Minglun, Jin Ming and Zhengzhou Longzihu, with a total area of more than 5,500 mu and a total collection of literature and information resources of nearly 6,543,803,000 volumes.
