I. Introduction to the College
Wuxi Medical College of Jiangnan University (Jiangnan University) was established in June 20 12, and was jointly established by Wuxi Municipal People's Government and Jiangnan University. The college implements the dean responsibility system under the leadership of the Council, which is composed of leaders of relevant committees, offices and bureaus in Wuxi and leaders of relevant departments of Jiangnan University.
As of 20 18, 1, 1 1, the college has two undergraduate majors and two first-class discipline master degree awarding points. There are 407 undergraduates, 75 postgraduates, 6 undergraduates/kloc-0 and 4 postgraduates. The college and affiliated hospitals have full-time teachers 170 people, including more than 70 people with the title of associate high school or above.
The college consists of 4 teaching departments, 2 teaching experiment centers, 1 skills training center and 6 teaching and research sections. Directly affiliated hospitals 1, non-directly affiliated hospitals 5, and teaching practice hospitals in Wuxi, Shanghai, Jiangyin and Yixing exceeded 10. The College and Wuxi People's Hospital jointly successfully applied for the construction of Wuxi Branch of Jiangsu Institute of Translational Medicine.
Second, historical development.
The school of Wuxi Medical College of Jiangnan University can be traced back to the original Jiangnan University Medical Department, which was established in 1985. It has set up medical (clinical), anesthesiology, radiology, imaging, nursing and other majors.
