I am proud of being a college student. I like my college life because it was the best time when I was young. Being born in a remote rural area, I don't have a good educational environment. However, I set a goal and feel confident to be a college student. After studying hard, I passed the national college entrance examination with excellent results. Everyone is proud of me, because I am the first college student in our village. When I came to school, they said goodbye to me warmly. I was also warmly welcomed by the school. Since then, I feel that my study is not only for myself, but also for the honor of our village and school.

College life is beautiful. All life at school is fresh. New teachers, new classmates and new friends are all around me. I feel their friendship, extensive knowledge and open mind. The magnificent library, school buildings and wide playground attract me very much. I am very eager to learn a lot of knowledge quickly. In high school, I was called a runner. Now, I know that I have actually fallen behind too much time. I hope to catch up with the times by studying hard. Every day, you can see me get up early, exercise hard and go to school first. In the evening, I am the one who left the library. The most interesting thing is that because I am from the south and I can't speak Mandarin well, I made a lot of interesting things at the beginning. When I first walked into the classroom, I had a headache because I couldn't understand what the professor was saying. I have encountered many difficulties in math, physics and other subjects, although I used to be very good at these subjects. Therefore, I study these courses by myself after class. Three months later, the exam showed that I had overcome all the difficulties. I also improved my Chinese listening and speaking ability quickly. Communication is very important to my college life. I also study English hard. This gives me many opportunities to communicate with foreigners. I made friends with many foreign teachers and students. From them, I learned a lot about foreign cultures. The computer room is another place I like to stay. I communicate with the outside world through the internet. All the news, advanced science, and information in China and abroad.

Besides studying, my college life is also very colorful. I want to seize every opportunity to improve my communication skills. I am the monitor, and I play an active role in my class and school. Last year, I organized a speech contest in the management department. All the students are very interested in this kind of activity. I learned a lot from them about their hometown, their knowledge and opinions. At the same time, I show everyone my beautiful hometown. At school, I care about all my classmates around me. I am poor because I come from a remote rural area. The school paid most of my education expenses. I feel very happy. However, I know some students are poorer than me. I am willing to care about them and encourage them.

My college life is long and short. I believe I can spend these four wonderful years. I hope I won't have any regrets when I look back on my short college days in the future. thank you
