Anqing Normal University introduced:
Anqing Normal University (AQNU for short) is located in Anqing City, Anhui Province. It is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning organized by the people's government of Anhui Province. It is an excellent institution for evaluating the undergraduate teaching level of colleges and universities of the Ministry of Education, and the first batch of units in China with the right to award bachelor's degrees.
The school has the right to award master's degree, and has been selected into the second phase of the "Basic Capacity Building Project of Central and Western Universities", the first batch of pilot universities of the "Data China" Hundred Schools Project and the national cultural quality education base for college students. In 20 19, the school officially became the construction unit of the provincial doctoral program in Anhui province.
1897 was founded in Jingfu Academy, then merged with Qiushi Academy to form Anhui University Hall, and later changed to Anhui Ordnance Academy, Anhui Army Academy and Anhui Law and Politics College. 1928, the provincial Anhui university was established here; 1946 changed to National Anhui University;
1949 was changed to the third branch of the PLA naval joint school. From 1958, it was gradually changed to Anhui Normal University, Anqing Teaching Point of Anhui Normal University and Anqing Branch of Anhui Normal University. 1980 Anqing normal college was established on the basis of Anhui normal university Anqing branch; 20 16 was renamed Anqing Teachers College with the approval of the Ministry of Education. ?
