1. Shenzhen University, referred to as "Shenda", is located at No.3688 Nanhai Avenue, Nanshan District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. 1983 was established with the approval of the State Council. The central government, the Ministry of Education and local governments all attach great importance to the construction of universities in the SAR.

Peking University aided Chinese and foreign languages, Tsinghua University aided electronics and architecture, and China Renmin University aided economics and law. The educational level of the school ranges from bachelor, master to doctor. Shenzhen University is the only comprehensive university in Shenzhen, the only normal university in Shenzhen and the largest undergraduate college in Shenzhen.

2. Huaqiao University, founded in 1960, is headquartered in Quanzhou. The school is directly under the leadership of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council. It is one of the only two national overseas Chinese universities in China and one of the two universities directly under the central government in Fujian Province. Huaqiao University is a national key comprehensive university. 1983 was identified by China municipal government as a national key supported university. It is the first excellent university to obtain the "Undergraduate Teaching Level Assessment" from the Ministry of Education, and the first university in New China to implement the board system.
