The major of grassland science in Agricultural University belongs to the Institute of Sports Science, which is mainly focused on animal husbandry and has certain comprehensiveness. Grass workers in Beilin have occupied the core backbone of most golf courses in China. Although the amount is from Agricultural University, I still think Beilin is better.

The following is the introduction of Behring. Grassland science discipline was established to train senior technical personnel in grassland science, China. 199 enrolled master's degree students in lawn management, and began to enroll doctoral students in 20001year. At present, grassland science major is hosted, and there are two training directions, namely, urban lawn direction and golf course direction. Its characteristic is to cultivate senior scientific and technological talents who can engage in lawn planting and management, artificial grassland cultivation and urban ecological environment construction in landscaping, golf courses, sports fields and urban forestry departments. At present, there are 2 professors and doctoral supervisors, with lecturer 1 person, who undertake more than 20 undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

There are "863 Program" laboratories, grassland resources and ecology laboratories, lawn laboratories, and experiments that can develop transgenic breeding of lawn grass, identification of lawn grass and forage grass seeds, quality inspection of lawn grass and forage rice dumplings, and identification of lawn grass varieties.

At present, it has undertaken a number of scientific research projects, mainly including "National 863 Plan Project: Breeding Technology of High-quality and Stress-resistant Turfgrass in Colleges and Universities and Cultivation of New Varieties", "Transgenic Project" and other international cooperation projects, such as "Study on Adaptability of Introduction of Foreign Excellent Turfgrass". Among the completed scientific research projects, there are 8 provincial and ministerial awards.

The development goal of this discipline is to build three master's degree programs (lawn management, grassland ecology, feed production) and 1 doctoral degree program (grassland science) before 20 10, so that grassland science discipline in our school has a considerable reputation and influence at home and abroad and makes due contributions to the development of grassland science in China.
