Under construction are Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital affiliated to South China University of Technology, the Second Affiliated Hospital of South China University of Technology (Guangzhou First People's Hospital) and Tianhe Hospital affiliated to South China University of Technology (Tianhe District Second People's Hospital).

South China University of Technology, located in Guangzhou, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. Its campus is divided into Wushan Campus, University Town Campus and Guangzhou International Campus.
