Suzhou University is located in Suzhou, an ancient city known as "paradise on earth". It is the first batch of recognized universities in the "20 1 1 plan" of the national "21project". It is a key comprehensive university in Jiangsu Province. Its main predecessor is Soochow University, which was founded in 1900.

Changzhou University is located in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, a famous historical and cultural city in the south of the Yangtze River with developed economy and rich humanities. The school was founded in 1978, formerly known as Wuxi Branch and Changzhou Branch of Nanjing Institute of Chemical Technology. It is a provincial full-time undergraduate college founded at the beginning of China's reform and opening up.
