After I went there, I felt that the first time I felt the pressure and growth of independence was when I went to the United States for a paid internship. Only later did I know that it was really not easy for my parents to earn money to support us to grow up, because the work was really hard! Very hard! ? After I really went to America, I found that the real internship pressure was even greater than I expected! Colleagues and leaders around me require me to be independent and multifaceted, to judge by myself and to face every guest directly. I always felt wronged at first! I've always wanted someone to teach me! I always feel that I can't do a lot of work by myself, but I can't pull my face down. I am very angry. Why don't the old birds help me? Almost fainted several times! Especially once, I lost my hotel master key, and the leader from Africa stared at me without saying anything, which made me very anxious ... As a result, he even smiled and took out my lost key from behind and said that he wanted me to remember this lesson for a long time! So my seniors have been taking care of me, but I only care about myself and don't work hard ..... I don't know why since then, I seem to have obviously mingled with my colleagues and seniors and received more tips. Maybe the senior thinks I'm qualified to be a member of the team. :D
Of course, during my internship, I will still complain in my heart about how Americans are so realistic. Later, I came to other enterprises for internship and found that this is the environment we will face in the working environment in the future. In fact, my African predecessors have done more and taken care of more than many people in China.
At first, I felt that doing service seemed to be a relatively low-level internship, because serving others seemed to be humble, or later my aunt made me understand. My aunt has been an executive in a foreign company 10 for many years. She asked me what internship I would do in America. When I said I was an intern in a hotel, she immediately said the position was great! My aunt also worked in a hotel for a long time when she was studying in the United States, so she was familiar with the western system and culture, which helped her to work in a foreign company later.
The feeling of the seniors' personal practice in the hotel post is that this is the post that can best feel the opinions of the guests, and they know what the guests want, what they need and what they are dissatisfied with our unit. Even the general manager often comes down to chat with people in our lobby and asks us what our guests are thinking and what services they need, which is not as high as that of executives and very grounded.
Entrepreneurship is popular now, and I think the feelings and thoughts of guests should be the information that startups want to know most. With the experience of internship in the United States, I have accumulated professional experience from the grassroots and become more grounded. I don't engage in strategy every day like the business class at school, but I don't serve the customers in front of me in a down-to-earth way.
I think the paid internship in the United States is very helpful to our China students' oral English, but the article is already so long ... If you want to read it, please answer the next one.
