China is a unified multi-ethnic country, and 56 ethnic groups have jointly created the glorious history and splendid civilization of the Chinese nation. As a minority area, Xinjiang has been watering the flower of national unity with its selfless actions and hard work, which has made the flower of national unity bear extremely rich fruits. There are 47 ethnic groups in Xinjiang, including Uygur, Han, Kazak, Hui and Mongolian. Every nation has a long history and rich culture, and each nation has its own cultural traditions, languages, religious beliefs and customs. Although there have been contradictions and discord, conflicts and wars between ethnic groups in history, economic and cultural exchanges and friendly exchanges between ethnic groups have always been the mainstream of history. In the struggles against foreign aggression and splitting the motherland in past dynasties, people of all ethnic groups have forged brotherly friendship.

After thousands of years of changes and turmoil, all ethnic groups in China have been able to merge into a United whole and never separate. The fundamental reason is that the centripetal force and cohesion of patriotism have played a role. As a gathering area of ethnic minorities, the unity and stability of Xinjiang is related to the consolidation of the motherland's border defense and the long-term stability of society. The development of ethnic minority areas is related to the success or failure of Socialism with Chinese characteristics's construction. Without the development of ethnic minorities, there can be no rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. After the founding of New China, the CPC Central Committee and Party committees and governments at all levels in the autonomous region attached great importance to the work of ethnic unity, implemented ethnic and religious policies and the system of regional ethnic autonomy under the guidance of Marxist ethnic view, persisted in promoting social stability and economic development through ethnic unity, and established a new type of ethnic relations of "equality, unity, mutual assistance and progress".

1982, the party committee and government of the autonomous region held the first commendation meeting for advanced collectives and individuals of ethnic unity in Xinjiang, and issued an initiative to conscientiously implement the party's ethnic policy, taking strengthening the education of ethnic unity as an important part of the construction of socialist spiritual civilization, and designated May every year as the month of ethnic unity education in the whole region. Every May, when bloom is warm in spring, the ideological and policy winds of national unity education are rippling around Xinjiang. Various forms of cultural performances, newspapers, radio and television propaganda bring the thoughts of the Chinese nation's big family and the party's ethnic policies to cadres and the masses of all ethnic groups, and solidarity and mutual assistance have become a common practice.

Our school is a big family, and students of all ethnic groups live in harmony with teachers. The school has students from Uygur, Kazak, Kirgiz, Hui, Mongolian, Daur and other ethnic groups. The school has also paid a lot of attention to the study and life of minority students. We treat every minority student in the school with a United and friendly attitude and practical actions. We firmly believe that only harmony can create a new campus full of vigor and vitality. (For example)

National unity is the main theme of socialist ethnic relations and the important content of socialist spiritual civilization construction. We should firmly establish the idea that "Han people can't live without ethnic minorities, ethnic minorities can't live without Han people, and ethnic minorities can't live without each other", safeguard the good social fashion of national unity, and let every China person consciously fulfill the sacred obligation of safeguarding the reunification of the motherland and national unity.

We firmly believe that only by strengthening national unity can we gather the wisdom of all ethnic groups and twist them into a rope to form an indestructible Great Wall of the nation. Speech on National Unity Today's Xinjiang is standing at a new historical starting point, showing amazing development potential. More than 20 million people of all ethnic groups unite and struggle, help each other and love each other, cherish the fruitful achievements of national unity in Xinjiang, and safeguard the hard-won unity and stability. The flower of national unity will bloom more and more brilliantly in Xinjiang.
