The difference between international university debate competition and international college debate competition.
The International University Debate Competition is the previous International University Debate Competition.

The debate competition for college students originated in Singapore 1986. Because all the participants are students from major universities, it is called the "Asian University Debate Competition" and is held every two years. 1993 CCTV officially became one of the organizers of the debate competition, and the debate competition was renamed as "International Debate Competition for College Students", which is still held every two years, and both parties take turns to undertake it.

In 2007, China CCTV hosted an international debate competition for college students. Because the word "junior college" has a special meaning in China, the 2007 International College Debate Competition was renamed as "2007 International College English Debate Competition". Add the word "Qunying" to highlight high-level and high-level universities.
