1. It should be said that the hardware facilities of the college are indeed much better than when I first entered the school four years ago. After all, the National Model Software Institute was established in 2002 with a short history, and it is still exploring and growing. In 2006, the college moved into the original campus of Hubei University of Economics in the west of Wuhan University's Information Department (Wuhan University spent hundreds of millions of yuan to buy the campus in the prime location of Wuchang District from Hu Jing), and the overall hardware facilities were greatly improved. Generally, students live in four rooms (with separate bathrooms and balconies), and the laboratory of the college has three floors (which can meet the computer experiments of most freshmen and sophomores, and senior students seldom go to the laboratory because they usually bring their own computers). Speaking of teachers, the college provides a group of professional teachers. Of course, we have been constantly improving and perfecting the teaching staff. Some of the teachers who have taught us do have practical work experience and theoretical foundation, especially some young associate professors. I want to study in Wuhan University, and what benefits us most is the learning opportunities of the whole school. As students of Wuhan University, we can take 200 or 300 courses each semester. If you make good use of your time and seize the learning opportunity, you can minor in the second degree at the same time or take the second degree directly at the same time (for example, your first major is finance). However, if you are very interested in economics or finance, I also suggest that you consider applying for a major next semester.
There are many possibilities for Chinese-foreign cooperation in studying abroad, but I still suggest that if you study computer software in an inspirational way, do more projects and publish more papers with professors in colleges and universities during your undergraduate period. Some of the students who graduated with me this year applied for offer from famous universities such as Carnegie Mellon University and Columbia with scholarships, so in the final analysis, coming to Wuhan University to provide you with a stage depends on your persistent and careful training.
Wuhan University is the same as all key universities. In fact, students are divided into two classes. Excellent students shine brilliantly on this stage and keep forging ahead towards their own ideals, while those students who have no goals and indulge in fun have been depressed silently for four years.
Destiny is always in your own hands. I hope you can make unremitting efforts in the four years of Wu Da University, pursue the ideal of youth and win glory for your alma mater!
