Established in 1994, Taiwan Province National Donghua University is a public research university located in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County, Taiwan Province Province, China, and the first comprehensive university in the east of Taiwan Province Province. Covers an area of 26 1 hectare (excluding the College of Ocean Science). This school is known as "the highest institution of learning in the East" in Taiwan Province Province and "the back garden of Taiwan Province Province".
In 2008, the school merged with Hualien Education University. The name of the new school is still Donghua University, and the "Flower Teacher Education College" was established. Donghua University is now the academic research, industrial development and Internet center of Dongtai Bay Province, belonging to the Pan-Pacific University Alliance and a member of the European Union Center (EUTW).
Donghua University in Taiwan Province Province has eight colleges, including School of Management, Institute of Technology, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Flower Education, Indigenous College, College of Ocean Science, College of Art and College of Environment, including 13 doctoral program, 28 master programs, 22 bachelor programs and 8 on-the-job master training centers.
School history
Donghua University is known as the academic hall of the vertical valley in East China. From scratch, a school was built with sugarcane fields and Miscanthus flowers brick by brick, which not only cultivated higher education talents for Taiwan Province Province, but also shouldered the heavy responsibility of developing the east coast of Taiwan Province Province.
Donghua University was formally established on July 1994 1. Donghua University has not been established for a long time, but it attaches great importance to academic research. More than 90% teachers have doctoral degrees from top universities in Europe and America, such as Columbia University and Oxford University.
As the first comprehensive university in the east, under the leadership of the first president, Dr. Mou Zongcan, and with careful campus and department planning, Hualien, with simple folk customs and rich natural and human resources, has played a diversified educational function, improved the academic and cultural standards in the east of Taiwan Province Province, and moved towards the goal of being a world-class university.
