ULV is the abbreviation of La Verne University. Founded in 189 1, it is one of the oldest national universities in the western United States with a history of over 125 years. Its predecessor was the Lozberg College founded by the church. 19 17, the Lozberg agricultural community was renamed Lavin, and the college became Lavin College. 1977, the college was officially renamed La Verne University. 198 1 established a branch school in orange county, then established branches in San Francisco, Ken county, St. Louis and other places, established an army teaching point in Alaska and established a branch school in Greece.
