1, Harbin Institute of Technology: School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering was founded in 1993, and its predecessor was Electrical Engineering Department, which was founded in 1920. It is one of the oldest departments of Harbin Institute of Technology. 3. Shanghai Jiaotong University: School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, founded in 19 13, is one of the oldest departments of Shanghai Jiaotong University. In the development history of the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, many China firsts were created: the earliest internal combustion engine and the first escalator in China. Many of them were completed with the sponsorship and direct participation of university alumni. 1999 Among the heroes with two bombs and one satellite commended by the State Council, Qian Xuesen and Wang Xiji both graduated from the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering.
