Chongqing Vocational College of Chemical Technology is a public full-time ordinary institution of higher learning sponsored by Chongqing Municipal People's Government and undertaken by Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, Chongqing Municipal Education Commission and Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Commission.
The school was formed by the merger and reorganization of Chongqing Workers College of Chemical Technology and Chongqing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Technicians. 1964.
The school has two campuses, Jiangbei and Changshou, covering an area of nearly 600 mu and a construction area of nearly 200,000 square meters. The school is "Chongqing Higher Vocational College Project Construction Unit" and "Chongqing Civilized Campus".
