Binhai New Area is a national comprehensive reform experimental zone, a national new zone in Tianjin, and the first and only national comprehensive reform and innovation zone approved by the State Council.
The research institute jointly established by the two parties will be located in the Future Science and Technology City of the National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in the new district, closely focusing on strategic emerging industries such as high-end equipment manufacturing, intelligent robots, energy conservation and environmental protection, and the leading industries of modern service industries in the new district, relying on the technology and talent advantages of Zhejiang University.
