Since 1998, the college has actively carried out scientific research and technological development, presided over and participated in 72 international cooperation, national, provincial and ministerial-level projects, and won 2 first prizes, 6 second prizes and 3 third prizes of scientific and technological progress awards in the autonomous region 10, 5 second prizes and 6 third prizes of outstanding academic papers in the autonomous region, and 3 third prizes of teaching achievements in the autonomous region. SCI, EI and ISTE have collected 1 1 articles, published 6 monographs, published textbooks 12 volumes, and applied for and granted 9 patents. The college has four research, design and supervision institutes and companies, and has made remarkable achievements in social services.
Ordinary full-time students 1252, 66 graduate students and 86 undergraduates1/kloc-0. Over the years, the college has trained more than 3,500 planning, design, construction, scientific research and management talents for the water conservancy construction industry, and made important contributions to the development of civil water conservancy construction in China. Since 2004, the college has enrolled students by major category. In the first two years, students were enrolled in major categories, namely, civil engineering, water conservancy, transportation (including civil engineering, water conservancy and hydropower engineering, agricultural water conservancy engineering, transportation engineering and project management) and architectural planning (including architecture and urban planning). In the first two years, classes are given according to professional categories, and in the second two years, they are trained according to majors. Insisting on keeping pace with the times, the College is pioneering and innovative, focusing on undergraduate education, actively developing postgraduate education, striving to cultivate high-level engineering and management talents based in Ningxia and facing the whole country, and striving to make the College a first-class engineering college with regional advantages and national characteristics in the west.
