Langfang Teachers College was formerly Anci County Rural Teachers College established by 1946, renamed as Hebei Langfang Teachers College by 1956 and upgraded to Langfang Teachers College by 1964. Langfang Teachers College was established in March 2000 and upgraded to an ordinary undergraduate normal college, which is under the management of Hebei Provincial Department of Education. From June to February, 2004, it merged with Hebei Vocational and Technical College to form a new Langfang Normal College.
