Shanxi University, located in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in China. Shanxi University was formerly known as Shanxi University Hall, which was founded on May 8, 1902. 19 12 was renamed as Shanxi university, 19 18 was confirmed as national Shanxi university, and 193 1 was renamed as Shanxi university.
