Guangzhou Institute of Technology and Business is a private full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. It is the construction unit that awarded master's degree in Guangdong Province and the new station unit of doctoral workstation in Guangdong Province.
As of May 2022 12, the school has two campuses in Guangzhou Huadu and Foshan Sanshui, 12 experimental teaching center, 14 teaching units, 30 undergraduate majors, 2 key disciplines with provincial characteristics, 4 first-class undergraduate majors, provincial comprehensive reform pilot majors, provincial characteristic majors, 2 provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers and provincial college students.
The predecessor of Guangzhou Industrial and Commercial College is Guangzhou Huadu Yang Huan Business School, which was founded by Guangzhou Huadu Yang Huan Trading Co., Ltd. on 1995. In 2000, the school was renamed Guangzhou Yang Huan College (Huadu College of Guangdong Science and Technology Cadre College).
In July, 20001year, Huadu College of Guangdong University of Commerce was established in cooperation with Guangdong University of Commerce, becoming the second-level college of Guangdong University of Commerce. In 2004, the college began to run independently and changed its name to Guangzhou Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Commerce. On May 20 14, it was renamed Guangzhou Industrial and Commercial College. Guangzhou Institute of Technology and Business ranked 108 in 2023, and 82nd in 2022.

The campus is lush with trees and mountains set each other off. Campus area 14 13.95 mu, including 568.96 mu in Guangzhou Huadu Campus and 844.99 mu in Foshan Sanshui Campus. There are standard track and field venues, 3,000-seat large stadiums, various sports venues, student cultural activity centers and other cultural and sports venues.
