Combinatorial Mathematics Center adopts an open and mobile teaching and research system, which attracts many famous scholars at home and abroad every year and forms a strong academic exchange atmosphere. James D. Louck, a famous American scientist, is now the honorary director of the center, which has a wide influence in international academic circles. Professor Alain Lascoux (France) and Professor Xavier Viennot (France) were employed as part-time professors of the Center. Professor Andrew, Professor askey, Honorary Professor of Nankai University, and Professor Stanley, Academician of the American Academy of Sciences, have all visited the Center for a short time. Since its establishment, the center has successfully held seven large-scale international conferences, including the successful convening of the combined academic year in 2004 and two international conferences, which created an unprecedented new situation for the exchange and cooperation of the center. The international conference on 19 form power series and algebraic combination held in July 2007 is the most influential international conference in the field of algebraic combination, and it is also the first time that 19 was held in Asia since its establishment. This conference provided a broad platform for more than 200 experts and scholars from more than 80 universities and scientific research institutions in 19 countries and regions, which had a great influence in academic circles.
