Postgraduate education in Hefei University of Technology began on 1960, enrollment resumed on 1978, and doctoral students were enrolled on 1986. After more than 20 years' development, a graduate training system with complete levels and various types has been formed.
It has established friendly and cooperative relations with more than 30 world-renowned universities such as Ohio State University, George Mei Sen University, Stuttgart University, Hanover University and Deakin University.
