Wuhan Institute of Technology is two universities and two campuses. One is Liu Fang, in Jiangxia. One is Wuchang Campus, which is above Xiongchu Avenue. Wuchang Campus is an old campus, and now freshmen are generally in Liu Fang Campus.

It has three colleges: School of Posts and Telecommunications of Wuhan Institute of Technology and School of Information Engineering. There are two campuses, one is the campus of the Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, and the other is Wuchang Campus.

There is also a college called Wuhan Institute of Technology, which is located in Wujiawan.
