North Minzu University is directly under the State Ethnic Affairs Commission of the People's Republic of China. The school is located at No.204 Wenchang North Street, Xixia District, Yinchuan City, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The school is a public full-time ordinary institution of higher learning, with the right to award doctoral, master's and bachelor's degrees. The undergraduate education system is four years, and the preparatory education system is one year. Preparatory courses only recruit minority candidates.
The school enrolls students nationwide, and the enrollment plan is based on the data published by the competent departments of enrollment in all provinces (cities, autonomous regions). Some undergraduate majors in the school are enrolled according to professional categories. Undergraduate students enrolled in the same major category are not divided into majors. The school implements the rules for filing determined by the admissions departments of all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government). When non-parallel volunteer files, the school gives priority to the first volunteer candidate, and when the first volunteer source is insufficient, the non-first volunteer candidate is admitted; If the number of qualified non-first-choice candidates is still insufficient, volunteers will be collected. When parallel volunteer files, unfinished projects will solicit volunteers. There is no limit to the ratio of male to female in each major.
Arrangements for majors (categories) of non-art sports majors in non-college entrance examination reform provinces: scores are given priority (no professional grade difference), and majors are arranged from high to low according to scores (including policy scores). When the scores of filing are the same, they will be selected after comparing the relevant examination subjects, and the scores of science, mathematics, Chinese and foreign languages will be compared in turn. Literature and history compare the scores of comprehensive literature, Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages in turn, while foreign languages compare the scores of foreign languages, Chinese and mathematics in turn.
If all the candidates' professional volunteers can't be satisfied, if they are transferred from school to a major with a surplus plan, the priority of all professional (class) transfer candidates is lower than that of non-transfer candidates. Those who don't obey the adjustment will be dismissed (the admission rule of "queuing up for admission according to professional volunteers within the enrollment plan 1: 1) is implemented for non-art sports undergraduate majors enrolled in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region).
The reform measures of college entrance examination for non-art sports majors (classes) in the province: the subjects selected by candidates must meet the requirements of the school for the majors reported by candidates. According to the principle of giving priority to scores, candidates with high scores are admitted and arranged for majors, and there is no professional grade difference. When the scores (including policy bonus points) are the same, the majors will be assigned according to the same sorting rules determined by the provincial entrance examination institutions.
When the sorting rules of the same score are not clear, those with high scores in related subjects are given priority, and the comparative order of scores in related subjects is mathematics, Chinese and foreign languages in turn. If all professional volunteers can't be satisfied when filling in the form of professional group in colleges and universities, candidates who are subject to professional adjustment will be transferred to majors with remaining plans in the same professional group, and the priority of all professional (class) adjustment candidates in the same professional group is lower than that of non-adjustment candidates; Candidates who can't be admitted because they don't obey the professional adjustment and don't meet the professional admission conditions will be dismissed.
