1, teaching construction
At present, the college has five departments: basic medical college, public health college, pharmacy department, nursing department and clinical medicine department. It has many affiliated (teaching) hospitals such as Tianyou Hospital, Second Affiliated Hospital, Hanyang Hospital, Puren Hospital, China Resources WISCO General Hospital, Wuhan Asian Heart Hospital, Xiaogan Central Hospital, Wuchang Hospital, Wuhan Asian Heart General Hospital, Hankou Hospital and Wuhan Occupational Disease Prevention and Treatment Institute, with a total establishment of more than 6,543,800 beds. There are more than 30 practice training bases in nursing, pharmacy, public health and preventive medicine, health inspection and quarantine, etc., and a public health and preventive medicine talent training base is jointly established with Hubei CDC.
At present, the College of Anatomy for International Students has two famous workshops of preventive medicine and medicine (clinical) in Hubei Province, three teaching teams of basic medicine series courses, core courses of preventive medicine and core courses of health inspection and quarantine, and Hubei Province 1 grass-roots teaching organization. There are three demonstration centers (bases) in Hubei Province, namely, the experimental teaching center of basic medicine, the virtual simulation experimental teaching center of medical function and the occupational disease prevention training base. There are two gold courses of national virtual simulation experiment: Diagnosis and treatment of upper gastrointestinal bleeding and septic shock and treatment in rabbits, three gold courses of virtual simulation in Hubei Province, network gold course in Hubei Province 1, and social practice gold course in Hubei Province 1.

3. Academic research
There are five experimental teaching centers and experimental animal centers for basic medicine, public health and preventive medicine, pharmacy, nursing and clinical medicine. Focusing on the basic and applied research of major diseases, the college has formed a stable research direction, including "Hubei Provincial Key Laboratory of Occupational Hazard Identification and Control" and "Institute of Advanced Technology of Brain Science, Institute of Infectious Immunity and Tumor Microenvironment, Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Institute of Nutrition and Chronic Disease Prevention, Institute of Social Development and Health Management". In the past five years, he has undertaken 37 national natural science funds and national humanities and social science funds, 58 provincial and ministerial projects such as humanities and social science projects of the Ministry of Education, outstanding youth funds of Hubei Province and natural science funds of Hubei Province, and 1 12 projects entrusted by the Health and Wellness Committee of Hubei Province and various enterprises and institutions, and published 466 scientific research papers, of which 138 were included in SCI and applied for invention patents.
