Exchange and Cooperation of State Key Laboratory of Estuary and Coast (East China Normal University)
The laboratory adheres to the tenet of "openness, mobility, union and competition", and attaches great importance to opening to the outside world, academic exchanges and scientific and technological cooperation at home and abroad, as an important link to improve the research level, academic level, management level and go global. The status and influence of the laboratory in the world are constantly improving, and a series of research results have been recognized by international peers. The ability to solve practical problems by combining the comprehensive analysis of power, sedimentation and geomorphology with biological and chemical processes, and combining macro-grasp with micro-quantification has been appreciated by international colleagues. Now the laboratory has maintained close cooperation with relevant research institutions such as the United States, Britain, the Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Canada and South Korea. Participated in many research projects, such as International Geosphere-Biosphere Program, UNESCO Western Pacific Commission, Inter-atmospheric Ocean Transportation Project, UNEP /GIWA, International Marine Biogeochemistry and Integrated Ecosystem Research Project, Sino-Dutch Strategic Science Alliance Program and Asia-Pacific Global Change Research Network (APN). There are seven substantive international cooperation projects, with an average of 5-6 people going abroad for cooperative research every year, and more than 30 people visiting the laboratory to give lectures and carry out cooperative research every year. Generally speaking, the laboratory has changed from the role of participating in international cooperation in the past to co-hosting, and some cooperation projects are led by us. In recent five years, the laboratory has hosted (hosted) 5 international and bilateral academic conferences and 8 domestic academic conferences, among which 7 people were invited to participate in international conferences and conduct academic exchanges 107, and 7 people were invited to make special invitations or special reports. Laboratory staff worked in 1 1 international academic organization and served as the editorial board of four foreign publications. The laboratory has a certain influence in the world.
