Shanghai Maritime University is a multidisciplinary university featuring shipping, logistics and ocean. Its disciplines include engineering, management, economy, law, literature, science and art. In 2008, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and the Ministry of Transport signed an agreement to establish Shanghai Maritime University.
