There are 2 departments (Electrical Engineering Department and Automation Department), 4 professional teaching and research sections, 1 Electrical and Electronic Teaching and Experiment Center, and 2 research institutes (Automation Research Institute and Clean Energy Research Center). There are 4 undergraduate teaching laboratories, 1 reference room (10,000 volumes) and computer room.
The college offers four undergraduate majors: automation, electrical engineering and automation, thermal energy and power engineering, and wind energy and power engineering. It has the right to award doctoral degrees in power system and its automation, master degrees in control theory and control engineering, detection technology and automation devices, power system and its automation, electrical theory and new technology, control engineering and electrical engineering, and has gradually formed a relatively complete teaching and scientific research system.
