Huaneng Shandong Shidaowan Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the company) is located in Rongcheng City, Shandong Province. The company is located in Ningjin Sub-district Office, Shidao Management District, Rongcheng City, 23 kilometers east of Rongcheng City, 68 kilometers north of Weihai City, 20 kilometers northwest of Yantai City, and 0/85 kilometers southwest of Qingdao City. At present, demonstration projects of high-temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear power plant are under construction, including 200MW units, 4× 1250MW pressurized water reactor (AP 1000) nuclear power units, expansion of 100 MW high-temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear power units, and cooperation with National Nuclear Power Technology Corporation to build CAP 1400 and CAP65438+. The demonstration project of high-temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear power plant is planned to start construction in September 2009, and it is expected to be put into operation in 20 13. 2× 1250MW PWR nuclear power unit is scheduled to start in 20 1 1 year and put into production in 20 16 years.

Second, the project introduction
(1) demonstration project of high temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear power plant
Modular high-temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear power plant has inherent safety, simple system, high power generation efficiency, wide application and potential economic competitiveness, which has attracted widespread attention all over the world and is one of the fourth generation advanced nuclear reactor types that can meet the demand of future energy market. The 10MW high-temperature gas-cooled experimental reactor designed and built by Tsinghua University has been running at full power in June 2003, becoming the first experimental nuclear power plant with the characteristics of modular high-temperature reactor in the world.
In order to promote the commercialization demonstration project of high-temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear power plant with independent intellectual property rights, in February 2006, the National Medium and Long-term Science and Technology Development Plan (2006-2020) listed the demonstration project of high-temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear power plant as a major national science and technology project; In June 2006, the State Council established a major special leading group for large-scale advanced PWR and HTGR. In September 2007, the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense organized and compiled the Overall Implementation Plan for Major Special Projects of High Temperature Gas-cooled Reactor Nuclear Power Plant, which passed the expert review. On February 15, 2008, the executive meeting of the State Council deliberated and adopted the implementation plan for major projects, marking the start-up and implementation stage of major projects.
On April 1 day, 2008, the demonstration project of "five connections and one leveling" started. At present, the negative excavation of the nuclear island foundation pit has been completed and passed the acceptance of the National Nuclear Safety Administration. The steel bars on the bottom plate of the nuclear island are being bound to prepare for the commencement of the project and the pouring of the first tank of concrete.
(2) PWR expansion project
AP 1000 is the safest and most advanced third generation nuclear power technology in the world. The main safety system adopts simplified passive design and a large number of modular manufacturing and construction technologies, which simplifies the operation management of power plant systems and equipment, improves the safety of power plants and shortens the construction period.
With the implementation of China's AP 1000 independent projects (Sanmen, Zhejiang, Haiyang, Shandong), according to the national policy orientation, the PWR expansion project of Shidaowan Nuclear Power Station will adopt the AP 1000 technical route, and build 4× 1250MW units in two phases. Referring to the total construction period of AP 1000 nuclear power units under construction in China and the start-up interval of units in the same period, the total construction period of each unit in Shidaowan PWR expansion project is considered to be 56 months, and the start-up interval of units is tentatively set at 12 months, and it is planned to be completed and put into operation before 2020.
