AHPU Anhui University of Engineering (Anhui University of Science and Technology for short), located in Wuhu City, Anhui Province, is a multidisciplinary institution of higher learning and a key construction institution in Anhui Province. The school is a university built by the basic capacity building project (Phase II) of universities in the central and western regions of China. The school was founded by 1935, and was renamed as Anhui Engineering University on 20 10 after several stages of running, such as Wuhu Motor Manufacturing School, Wuhu Machinery School, Anhui Electromechanical Vocational and Technical College, and Anhui Engineering Science and Technology College.

The school has 16 secondary colleges and continuing education colleges. In terms of undergraduate training, there are 70 undergraduate majors, covering engineering, science, literature, management, economics, law, art and other categories, including 14 national and provincial majors, 15 national and provincial comprehensive reform pilot majors, and 12 national and provincial excellent talent education and training plan majors; There is a national-level off-campus practical education base for college students; Relying on robot engineering, data science and big data technology, artificial intelligence, intelligence science and technology and other new engineering majors, the Institute of Artificial Intelligence was first established in Anhui universities.
