The complete credit system of Xi University of Technology mainly includes students' independent choice of majors, courses, teachers, learning process and years.

Xi University of Technology allows students to choose their own majors according to their interests, specialties, abilities and learning conditions after entering the university for one year. According to the current credit system management method, students who rank in the top 5% and 15% of their majors after completing the first-year courses can re-select their majors in the whole school and college according to their interests and abilities.

Starting from grade 20 16, the school-level elective course requires 2 credits in Class D (Innovation and Entrepreneurship), which is a requirement before graduation. From grade 20 16, every student must complete the D-level elective course and get credit before graduation. Taking the D-level elective course is a new national regulation. You can't replace the D-level elective course with more than two innovative credits, but only take the A, B and C elective courses.
