1, academic system and degree

The basic academic system is 4 years. The flexible Z system is implemented, and the study period is not less than 3 years and the longest is not more than 6 years.

Students who have completed the courses specified in the professional training plan and passed the examination are allowed to graduate. Those who meet the specified requirements will be awarded the Bachelor of Science degree.

2, knowledge and skills requirements

(1) Systematically master the basic knowledge, principles and skills of chemical engineering such as inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, natural product chemistry, instrumental analysis, synthetic chemistry, chemical engineering principles and fine chemical technology, and master the basic experimental techniques and skills such as organic synthesis, preparation of inorganic materials, separation and purification of natural products, analysis and inspection, and product quality control.

(2) be familiar with the frontier progress and trends of applied chemistry, understand the frontier progress, development trend, application prospect and industry demand of chemical engineering and technology, and understand the policies and regulations of scientific research, intellectual property rights and chemical related industries.

(3) Master the basic contents of mathematics, computer and physics required by this major, and initially master the basic knowledge of life, environment, materials, energy and other fields.

Graduate schools include Nanjing University, China University of Science and Technology, Xiamen University, Wuhan University, Tianjin University, and China Academy of Sciences (the enrollment unit designated by Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences). Overseas graduate schools are mainly located in famous universities in the United States, Canada, Australia and Europe. Chemistry is a combination of the applied chemistry majors of Hainan University and South China University of Tropical Agriculture. It not only undertakes the training task of applied chemistry professionals, but also undertakes the teaching task of public chemistry courses in Hainan University. With the earliest master's degree in applied chemistry, it is a doctoral program in chemical engineering and technology. It has tropical polysaccharide resource utilization engineering research center of the Ministry of Education, Hainan Provincial Key Laboratory of Fine Chemical Industry, Hainan Provincial Fine Chemical Industry Center, Hainan Provincial Drug and Material Analysis and Testing Center, Haikou City Key Laboratory of Green Chemistry and Reaction Engineering, Haikou City Key Laboratory of Environmental Protection, and Hainan Province Chemical Engineering Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center. There are 54 chemistry teachers, including 4 class C high-level talents, 3 class D high-level talents, 2 class E high-level talents, and 2 ordinary doctors introduced since 20 10. In recent five years, more than 300 academic papers have been published in academic journals at home and abroad, including international authoritative journals such as Green Chemistry, Chemical Communication, Crystencomm and Carbohydrate Polymer. Among them, 150 papers were included in the three major searches. More than 20 invention patents were authorized. The research results have won more than one scientific research award 10 at all levels, including two first prizes for scientific and technological progress in Hainan Province and two second prizes for transformation of scientific and technological achievements in Hainan Province 1 item. Editor-in-chief 13 textbooks, four of which won the first prize and textbook award of China Excellent Publishing Award in 20 16 respectively.
