A brief introduction to the author of Yu Dafu's prose
Yu Dafu (1895- 1945), formerly known as Yu Wen, was born in Fuyang, Zhejiang. 19 13 went to study in Japan, 192 1 participated in the establishment of the creative society, 1922 graduated from the Department of Economics of Imperial University of Tokyo. After returning to China, he participated in editing the quarterly magazine Creation and the weekly magazine Creation. Since 1923, he has taught in Peking University and Wuchang Teachers College successively. 1930 initiated and joined the China Freedom Movement League and the Chinese Left-wing Writers League.
