Formerly known as Central South Forestry College, it was renamed as Central South University of Forestry and Technology in June 2006. This is an old undergraduate college in Hunan Province. At present, it is the key construction college of Hunan Provincial People's Government and People's Republic of China (PRC) and State Forestry Administration. In 2004, it was rated as an excellent school of undergraduate teaching level by the Ministry of Education, and enrolled a number of undergraduate students.
The school is located in Changsha, with a campus area of 2,000 mu, a building area of 9 1.86 million square meters, total fixed assets of 777.7 million yuan, total teaching equipment of 65.438+34 billion yuan, and a collection of 2.38 million books. The school has such public publications as Journal of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Economic Forest Research, Furniture and Interior Decoration, and Forest Tourism.
The school covers nine disciplines: science, engineering, literature, law, management, economics, agriculture, teaching and art education. Is a teaching and research-oriented multidisciplinary university, with the right to confer Post-Doctoral Research Center and doctorate. At present, there are 5 post-doctoral research stations, 5 doctoral programs in first-class disciplines, 29 doctoral programs in two disciplines, 3 master programs in first-class disciplines, 74 master programs and 7 undergraduate programs.
