After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the Department of Electrical Engineering returned to Tsinghua Campus with the school from August of 1946 to June of 10. Three years later, in the autumn of 1955, the major of electrical engineering department was adjusted to four majors: electrical machinery and electrical appliance manufacturing, power generation and transmission and distribution engineering, high voltage engineering and electrification of industrial enterprises, and all the main links of a five-year undergraduate teaching were completed. In addition, in order to adapt to the situation that economic construction is the center of our country and meet the needs of the majority of scientific and technological workers in the front line of production, scientific research and education to update their knowledge, the Department of Electrical Engineering actively carries out post-university continuing education.
