North university of china, located in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, is a key construction university for the basic capacity building project of universities in central and western China, the second batch of key construction universities for the education and training of outstanding engineers, China Aerospace Core University, one of the eight undergraduate colleges directly under the former Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, and one of the seven undergraduate colleges directly under the former China Municipal People's Government and Ordnance Industry. It is a provincial university jointly established by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and the National Defense Science, Technology and Industry Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. North university of china is a national second-class secret unit, and is known as "Master of Military Industry" and "First School of People's Military Industry" in China. It is a three-star professional university in China selected by China Alumni Association.
