Yunnan University (YNU), located in Kunming, is a national key university built by the Ministry of Education and Yunnan Province, and a world-class university.

The school hosts academic journals such as Ideological Front, Journal of Yunnan University and Science Edition. Among them, "Ideological Front" was selected as the first batch of eleven periodicals in the "Famous Publications Project" of the Ministry of Education.
