Huang Minxing, 1958 was born in Jiahe, Hunan Province in April. He is currently the director, professor and doctoral supervisor of the Middle East Institute of Northwest University, the director of the Iranian Research Center of Northwest University, the director of the Middle East Institute of the Key Research Base of Philosophy and Social Sciences in Shaanxi University, and the editor-in-chief of Middle East Studies. He is also the vice-president and president of China World Modern History Research Association and Northwest Branch, the executive director of China Middle East Society, the executive director of Shaanxi Historical Society, the editorial board of two magazines, World History and west asia and africa, of China Academy of Social Sciences, and the member and liaison of the 10th Committee of Shaanxi NLD.
