Up to now, there are 45 undergraduate colleges and universities in Jiangxi, including Nanchang University, East China Jiaotong University, east china institute of technology, Nanchang Hangkong University, Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, Jingdezhen Ceramic University, Jiangxi Agricultural University, Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Gannan Medical College, Jiangxi Normal University, shangrao normal University, Yichun University, Gannan Normal University, Jinggangshan University and Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics.

Among them, Nanchang University, located in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, is a world-class discipline construction university in the national "double first-class" plan, a key construction university in the national "2 1 1 project", a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, and a high-level university in Jiangxi Province as a whole. It is the first batch of demonstration universities in China to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and the main node unit of China Education and Research Computer Network (CERNET) of the Ministry of Education. It is the executive director of China Education Exchange Association, the demonstration base for studying in China of the Ministry of Education, the overseas study training base of the overseas study service center of the Ministry of Education, and the national HSK Chinese proficiency online test advanced test center.
