Henan Vocational College of Science and Technology is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. The school was founded in 198 1, formerly known as Zhoukou Vocational College of Science and Technology. It was approved by the Ministry of Education in February 20 18 as the first batch of undergraduate vocational education pilot universities in China, and was renamed Henan Vocational College of Science and Technology in May 20 19, becoming the first batch of private non-profit undergraduate vocational universities in Henan Province.

There are 40 undergraduate and specialized majors such as mechanical and electronic engineering, automobile service engineering, electronic information engineering, preschool education, civil engineering, clothing and costume design, logistics management, computer application engineering, nursing, clinical medicine, stomatology and midwifery, which are urgently needed by the society. Among them, the key specialty of the Ministry of Education 1, the characteristic specialty of Henan Province 1, the comprehensive reform pilot specialty of Henan Province, and the brand specialty of private colleges and universities in Henan Province 1 1.
