1935- The Alliance closed the school, and Tama Imperial Art School (now the predecessor of Tama Art University) was separated from the Imperial Art School.

1948- Renamed Musashino University of Fine Arts.

1957- Musashino short-term fine arts university was established.

1962- Musashino University of Fine Arts was established.

1973- Establishment of Graduate School of Plastic Studies (monk course).

1999- short-term undergraduate enrollment stopped. The department of plastic arts offers arts and culture disciplines and design information disciplines.

200 1 year-as a member of TAC (tama ァカデミックコンソーシビム), and Conclude a credit exchange system with Waseda University.

2004-Start university (postdoctoral course).
