Business College of Shanxi University was established in March, 20001. It is an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education and the Shanxi Provincial People's Government, and an institution of higher learning that implements undergraduate education. The college is located in Taiyuan, a famous cultural city with a long history of 2500 years. The campus covers an area of 1 1,000 mu, and enrolls students for Shanxi Province and some provinces (cities, districts) in China.
The school building covers an area of 337,400 square meters, including135,700 square meters for teaching administration and127,000 square meters for student dormitory. Multimedia classrooms 142, voice classrooms 33, with a total seating capacity of 1.2 1 10,000; Modern laboratories 100, among which network information security laboratory, ERP experiment (training) laboratory, simultaneous interpretation training laboratory, mobile communication laboratory, microwave and antenna laboratory and wireless sensor network laboratory all occupy the leading level in the province; 3 140 teaching computers.
