Social work major: Social work major is a subject with the government as the main body and social forces widely participating, with social work, sociology and psychology as the main subjects, property management, medicine and law as the auxiliary subjects, helping others to help themselves as the core concept, and case work, group work and community work as the direct working methods.
2. Sociology major: Sociology major cultivates comprehensive sociological theoretical knowledge and skilled social investigation skills. Be able to engage in social research and investigation in education, scientific research institutions, party and government organs, enterprises and institutions, and social organizations. But also to train senior professionals in policy research and evaluation, social planning and management, development research and forecasting.
3. Community management and service major: Community management is a process in which grass-roots community organizations, community residents, community units and other departments or institutions adopt certain methods to effectively regulate and control community affairs in order to safeguard the overall interests of the community and promote its all-round development.
4. Social service industry: Social service industry belongs to the tertiary industry. In 1985, the National Bureau of Statistics divided the tertiary industry into four levels: the first level is the circulation department, the second level is the production and life service department, the third level is the department that serves to improve the scientific and cultural level and the quality of residents, and the fourth level is the department that the public needs to serve.
5. Public service major: Public service in a narrow sense does not include some functional activities such as economic regulation, market supervision and social management. That is, all the administrative actions of the government, the regulatory actions to maintain market order and social order, and the business actions that affect the macro-economy and the whole society are not public services in the narrow sense.
