South China Normal University is a national "double-class" construction university, a "2 1 1 project" key construction university, a key construction university in Guangdong Province and the Ministry of Education, and a high-level university in Guangdong Province. In 2022, the 209 major of Guangdong College Entrance Examination was finance (Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools).

South China Normal University set up a "College Specialty Group" in parallel volunteer, which is an admission model based on the development of colleges and universities. Its purpose is to recruit more outstanding students to study in colleges and universities, so as to improve the quality of talent training in colleges and universities.
