Jimei University is not recommended for the following reasons:
The school ranking is not high. Jimei University ranks lower in Fujian Province.
The subject setting is single. The subject setting of Jimei University is relatively simple, with engineering as the main subject and relatively few other subjects.
The concept of running a school is not advanced enough. The philosophy of Jimei University is "focusing on engineering, diversified development and serving the society", but under the background of the current development of higher education, this concept is not advanced enough.
This school is geographically remote. Jimei University is located in jimei district, Xiamen City, Fujian Province, far from downtown Xiamen, with inconvenient transportation.
Students at school are under great employment pressure. The employment pressure of Jimei University students is great, and the employment rate of graduates is low.
Jimei University can apply.
Jimei University adopts the method of "giving priority to scores", ranking candidates' professional volunteers from high to low, and there is no difference in professional level between professional volunteers. When the candidates' professional volunteers are not satisfied, they will be transferred to a major that has not been fully accepted if they are transferred by a major.
The reform of the college entrance examination system adopts the provinces with professional groups, and each professional group can only be deployed within the group, and it is carried out in a way of "score priority".
In principle, Jimei University recognizes the policy of adding (dropping) points formulated by the provincial admissions committee where the candidates are from, and divides the candidates' files into the basis of distribution before admission. Candidates who enter the archives are professionally deployed according to their scores, and candidates with the same scores are sorted according to the ranking rules determined by the provinces.
Candidates from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region are admitted according to the principle of "professional voluntary queuing admission within the enrollment plan 1: 1".
Candidates' college entrance examination plus points and scores are not applicable to our province's plan.
