Southwest Jiaotong University is a 2 1 1 engineering double-class university, directly under the Ministry of Education, located in Chengdu, a famous historical and cultural city. Mainly in engineering, it has national key disciplines such as transportation engineering and mechanical engineering, and two national key disciplines such as vehicle engineering, bridge and tunnel engineering.
