Charlie Crist 1978 graduated from Florida State University, and 1982 received a degree from Mboland Law School. 1986 failed to run for the state Senate, but 1992 was successful in the election, and 1998 was successfully elected as the federal senator.
In 2002, he was elected attorney general of Florida, and in 2006, he was elected governor of Florida.
