Brief introduction of Northwest University:

Northwest University is a national key university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and Shaanxi Province. It is also a national "double first-class" and "2 1 1 project" key construction university. The school is located in An, Party Secretary and President Guo. The school motto is "Honesty and Diligence".

Known as "the mother of petroleum talents in China", "the cradle of economists" and "the cradle of writers". As of September 2022, the school has three campuses, Taibai, Taoyuan and Chang 'an, with a total area of more than 2,360 mu. There are 24 colleges (departments) and graduate schools, 1 Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools and 6 non-directly affiliated hospitals.

There are 88 undergraduate majors, of which 37 are selected as national first-class undergraduate majors. There are 24 first-class disciplines authorized by doctor's degree, 37 first-class disciplines authorized by master's degree, 18 professional degree authorized categories, and 24 post-doctoral research stations. First-class discipline 1, 4 national key disciplines in two disciplines, and national key disciplines 1, with more than 3,000 faculty members.
